Tandem from Planpraz
The favorite flight to discover paragliding in Chamonix! Take off from the emblematic site of Planpraz – Brévent, facing the Mont-Blanc massif, for a paragliding baptism of 1,000 metres of altitude difference. Accompanied by your instructor, you will fly over the Chamonix valley and its magnificent landscapes. This accessible flight promises you a unique moment, rich in sensations and emotions, in an exceptional natural setting.

How is a tandem paragliding in Chamonix – Planpraz ?
The appointment is set at the start of the Planpraz ski lift, in the Chamonix valley. Accompanied by your instructor, you take the cable cars to the intermediate section of the Brevent at 2,050 meters altitude.
After a short walk of about 5 minutes, we arrive on the take-off. Your instructor equips you, performs security checks and explains the few steps to follow. To take off, a little sprinting is enough... and off you go!
In flight, your instructor adapts the experience according to your desires : contemplative flight, playful or more sporty. With a little luck, you may even spot ibex, chamois or vultures at the bend of the cliffs.
Then comes the moment of landing, very gently. Depending on the aerological conditions, your pilot will choose the best method for a comfortable return to land. The airfield is close to the city centre of Chamonix : it takes between 5 and 15 minutes on foot to reach it or return to your starting point.
This flight is available for children starting from 15kg!
We pay special attention to children’s flights, taking the time to explain everything that will happen. These flights can be booked for the 8 AM & 9 AM slots.
The best: for children, the flight is priced at €110 (for children under 15 years old).
The opening periods for the Planpraz take-off are:
- Winter: December 14th to April 20th
- Summer: June 15th to September 15th
Outside of these periods, it's recommended to book a flight at the Plan de l'Aiguille site.

If you want to stay in the air longer to fully enjoy the flight and explore through thermal lift, this flight is for you! On good summer days, we may even fly over the Aiguilles Rouges and the high-altitude lakes!
PHOTOS & VIDEOS +€30
This option allows you to keep a memory of your flight and take home all the images your instructor captures during the flight with their GoPro. Smile, you’re on camera!
Child Flight - €30
This flight is reserved for the 8 AM and 9 AM slots, for children over 15kg and under 15 years old.
The "Adrenaline" and "Photos & Videos" options can be selected during the booking process or directly with your instructor before take-off (if booked on-site, payment is only accepted in cash).
