How is a tandem paragliding in Chamonix – Planpraz ?
The appointment is set at the start of the Planpraz ski lift, in the Chamonix valley. Accompanied by your instructor, you take the cable cars to the intermediate section of the Brevent at 2.050 meters altitude.
After a short walk of about 5 minutes, we arrive on the take-off. Your instructor equips you, performs security checks and explains the few steps to follow. To take off, a little sprinting is enough... and off you go!
In flight, your instructor adapts the experience according to your desires : contemplative flight, playful or more sporty. During your Prestige flight, you’ll even get a chance to take the controls and learn the basics of paragliding. We’ll also introduce you to acrobatic maneuvers, giving you a taste of the thrilling sensations paragliding can offer. And of course, it’s all captured in photos and videos so you can relive the adventure anytime.
Then comes the moment of landing, very gently. Depending on the aerological conditions, your pilot will choose the best method for a comfortable return to land. The airfield is close to the city centre of Chamonix : it takes between 5 and 15 minutes on foot to reach it or return to your starting point.

Want to find out what it’s like to pilot a paraglider? We give you the orders! Your instructor explains the basics of piloting in flight and lets you maneuver under his supervision.

It is a fun and supervised initiation, perfect for those who want to go a little further than a simple passive flight. And who knows? This could well be the trigger to embark on more advanced training!
