Aiguille du midi Tandem
A grandiose tamdem in Chamonix for the most adventurous, mixing high mountain and free flight accompanied by a guide and a paragliding instructor. An adventure reserved for the most sporty, between mountaineering and paragliding, to fly over the most beautiful glaciers of the Alps from one of the most spectacular take-offs in Europe.

The start is at the cable car of the Aiguille du Midi. You first take the ski lift to the intermediate station and then to the summit, at 3,842 metres.
Accompanied by a high mountain guide, you are equipped with crampons, harness, helmet and ice axe to descend the ridge of the Aiguille du Midi safely (count about 30 minutes of corded walk). You then join the take-off at 3,600 meters, on the glacier du Géant, in a breathtaking setting.
Once you arrive, your paragliding instructor will take over. The flight takes about 40 minutes. Then you immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of the high mountains surrounded by peaks all higher and more beautiful than each other.
Two flight routes are possible depending on the aerological conditions :
- North take-off : Flying over the north face of the Aiguilles de Chamonix, the Bossons glacier, the Mallory glacier, and exceptional view on the impressive infrastructure of the Aiguille du Midi.
- South take-off : View of the Mer de Glace, the Glacier du Géant, the Grandes Jorasses, the Dent du Géant, and descent to the valley of Chamonix passing over the station of Montenvers.
This paragliding baptism from the Aiguille du Midi is a total immersion in the massif of Mont-Blanc, an unforgettable aerial journey in the heart of landscapes inaccessible on foot.

The opening periods for the Aiguille du Midi takeoff are:
-Winter / Spring: December 21 to June 31
-Autumn: September 1 to November 2
Outside of these periods, we recommend booking a flight at the Planpraz site.
