How is this tandem paragliding in Chamonix ?
We meet at the start of the cable car of the Aiguille du Midi. After a few moments of ascent, we stop at the intermediate station of the Plan de l'Aiguille, at 2,310 meters above sea level. An easy 5-minute walk takes us to the flight area.
At the paragliding take-off from the Plan de l'Aiguille, your instructor equips you and carefully prepares the sail. A few explanations, a little sprinting, and you are in the air, facing the glaciers and spires of the Chamonix valley.
In flight, according to your mood of the day, we adapt the experience: contemplative, soft or a little more sporty. With a bit of luck, you may see ibex, chamois or vultures hovering near the cliffs. This flight will offer you a unique moment near the Bossons glacier, a spectacle inaccessible on foot.
The landing is smooth, close to the city center of Chamonix. Depending on the aerological conditions, the monitor will adapt the technique for a comfortable return to land.

This flight is ideal for the XXL option in the afternoon, thanks to its northwest orientation.
The opening periods for the Plan de l'Aiguille take-off are:
- Winter / Spring: December 21st to June 31st
- Autumn: September 1st to November 2nd
Outside of these periods, we recommend booking a flight from the Planpraz site.
